TITLE: TAP
MEDIUM: Paper Clay,A metal wasp,pins,yarn,string,wooden shadow box and paint.
SIZE: 7 1/2 X 7 1/2 X 2 inches deep
NOTE:The doll head is sculpted out of paper clay and wigged with a brown yarn.The eyes have needles in it and the head has a cracked,swollen,stung mouth with a metal wasp in it.She also has her lips sewn shut to keep the wasp in her mouth.The piece is a one of a kind original.

What a bizarre piece. "They" say that true art elicits a gut reaction, and you sure succeeded on that point! It's so sad and disturbing, and I can't help but wonder what the story is.

Thank You.It was my first time using allot of powdered blushing and coloring on paperclay,so I was sure how it would turn out.

Thank you very much.I have been doing doll for well over 10 years but it's only now I'm really experimenting with piling the hair on the head and putting the hair on that way.As opposed to making a human hair wig and trying to style it AND trying ti keep it styled in the Louisiana humidity.

It's really really well done. I love the hair. And it creeps me out. I'm assuming that's what you're going for, so...job well done!
