End of Summer Random Swap Gallery

Sometimes the tracking website is just depressing.  Last Christmas, I had to mail a package to Ottawa, which is a 6 hour drive away.  At about the 1 week mark, I checked the tracking, and it was listed as still being in Mississauga, which is about an hour drive away from me.  The package arrived two weeks after I sent it.  I am fairly certain that I could have walked my package to Ottawa and back, at a slow pace, with regular stops at hotels, inns, restaurants, etc, within that time.

Well my package arrived from Geekgirl1000100 today and I am one seriously happy swapper! She stalked me very well. She covered my love of papercrafts, Jane Austen, fingerless gloves, and Cairn Terriers-wow!

Wow!  That Cairn Terrier drawing is Amazing! 

I also received today!  grapeicepop sent the sweetest package, and my pregnancy hormones caused me to tear up a little.  Okay, commence awesomeness (picture heavy!): 



These are mama's goodies    The bookmark has a zombie on it, and says "Zombies hate that you are awesome."  And grapeicepop has only recently started learning to knit, and made this pretty dish cloth.  I can always use dish cloths.  I just had to switch out to some new ones, so it was well timed.  Close ups of the tiny poly clay cuties: 



Yep, that's narwhal earrings!  I love narwhals.  She stalked me well.   



And toadstool buttons!  I think I'm going to make some new fingerless gloves for myself to put these on. 

Now for the sweet baby goodies! 



It's a Yoda night light!  We're a little all over the map on nursery themes, and one of the common themes we have is Star Wars.  The Yoda is hand drawn and from shrinky dink!  I do love shrinky dink!

Then she made the babe a quilt!  I told her bright colors, orange, blue, green, and brown, and it is SO perfect!  I love this so much.  I nestled it in the bassinet with two of the owlie stuffies we got at our baby shower.  So adorable.

This will probably be weird to everyone else, but we call the baby "The Stig,"  based on the British "Top Gear" because no one really knows what he's about or where he comes from, they only know that he's called The Stig.  We'll be putting baby's first picture in it from the hospital.  Plus, it's Bears colors!

That zentangle cairn terrier is AMAZING - I love it!  The mobile to display ATCs is a great idea!

I love the owl quilt - the owls are awesome, and DH would love the yoda night light.

I got a random package from Patti M today! The box was all wet, but everything was fine luckily.
