I saw this awesome Ikea hack: http://www.ikeahackers.net/2007/05/black-and-red-clothespin-floor-lamp.html and decided that I needed a large black and white print on the wall. Unable to find the panel curtain used in the hack, I got out some black markers and some painters tape and free handed it : )



I hope you are as inspired by the Ikea hack as I am - I still want to do that lamp!!!!!

I love this wall. The pattern looks really beautiful. Black and white is always a classic and this will never go out of fashion. It will look nice on any color scheme. These vertical patterns work well on shorter walls as it gives an illusion of height. Also different patterns can be used, i personally love the one in the pic.
