Class: Care of Magical Creatures
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Sparkly Skulls
Brief Description: I'm getting ready for Halloween and so, with a simple charm, I made these sparkly skulls. I think they'll look great in the dungeons ... as long as we keep them away from any Nifflers!

P.S. Great job on your mitts and cacti Ant Bee!

P.P.S. I love the Firefly in a Jar AllyCatAria!

OWL Subject & Option(if available): Care of Magical Creatures:  Option 2-Dragons are terrifying yet awe-inspiring; craft something inspired by these magical creatures.
House: Gryffindor
Project Name: St George Dragons football quilt for my hubby for Christmas
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques used, materials using, plan of action, expected timeline, etc.) In Australia we have football (also known as rugby league) and my husband is mad for one team called St George Dragons (red and white colour scheme). He is always complaining when I am crafting I never make anything for him - so for Christmas I have just decided to make him a lapquilt/small quilt in his favourite team colours. I am thinking of repurposing the materials - so off to the thriftshop I go

Is this an OK OWL project?

indigo_roses - those Pumpkin Spice Rice Krispie Treats look too yummy! And nice going on your OWL project
Eiseldora - you have been knitting up a storm - gorgeous scarf, cowl, snood and square
pstaron - those shoes are beautiful! And what a lovely quilt - I am sre your daughter loves it to bits
tiametfire - cutie pie overall recon
madcrafter - that neckalce is Niffler bait if I ever saw it
lightninglisa - fab job on the glitter skulls - although I think I would pocket them from the dungeon to put on display!!

I need to get onto some more projects to catch-up  Grin

I actually let out a real live "squee"!  I've always loved crafting for kids and babies, but having my own gives me a place to channel all that crazy crafty energy Wink

Those are some great niffler projects everyone!  I've got some I made last night that I'm going to post later today (or soon, at least!).

~*Brew Up a Cauldron Treat Challenge*~
The kitchen elves have thought up the perfect present for Deputy Headmistress jennieingram's birthday.  They want to give her a year of special kitchen goodies and are searching far and wide for new, delectable recipes.  Help the kitchen elves by creating and sharing a yummy treat*.  Please share the recipe, recipe link/source, or kitchen technique used.  Treats can be savory or sweet, edible or drinkable, and can be kitchen tips such as fabulous cake decorating.  This treat CAN be submitted to ONE class as well (meaning you earn 2 badges for one project).  Once you complete this challenge, you may snag your Cauldron Badge below.

Grab your cauldron and get stirring! Cool

*Our Deputy Headmistress is lactose intolerant so though not required for the challenge, any dairy-free recipes would be greatly appreciated.

To claim your badge, right click and save to your computer.  Then, you can do whatever you wish with it.  Ideas on how to showoff your badges: use it as an avatar, put it in your profile under Brief Bio, or create a pinterest board for all your badges.  Can't find a badge?  Head to the Badge Station located on the first page, fifth post of this thread.
