Hello all! I'v made my first attempt at an ATC and some inchies...im trying to deside what class the inchies will go under but untill then heres my homework.
Class/Challenge/House Pride:Defence against the Dark arts
House:Gryffindor
Project Name:Under a full Moon Atc
Brief Description:I recently bought a set of watercolors and started experimenting with them. Iv never had a real class...unless you count the watercolors we did in middle school (which i dont). Many of the great images from Harry Potter swam in my head so i desided to scribble some down. This is Lupin under the Whomping willow howling at the moon. Im not completely happy with it and will be redoing it but I like it all the same. I need to mount it on some cardboard and do some triming

PenguinSoup I am going to have to try that recipe, it sounds delicioussss. I actually just tried a recipe for greek yogurt pancakes today (turned out well!) and looks like this will have to be tomorrows breakfast Smiley

Class/Challenge: September Practice on the field and Care of Magical Creatures
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: Ear danglies Smiley
Project Page Link (if available): --

Brief Description:
So in Care of Magical Creatures we had to attract some nifflers and document their behavior. In order to draw the nifflers to me I decided to create these shiny metal ear danglies/earrings Smiley They took about half an hour each to make (those darn wire loops take me so long!) so luckily I was able to get in some practice time on the quidditch field as well, being out around the Grounds trying to attract nifflers.

The earrings on top are inspired by the Kyoshi warriors from the animated tv show Avatar: The Last Airbender (which if you haven't seen comes from me with the highest recommendation! It's a fabulous show for literally all ages, I know kids and adults who love it). The Kyoshi warriors are these badass women warriors who use primarily fans as weapons and wear green outfits. I'm still debating whether to try to paint the fan, it's a more brassy color and when I realized I didn't have any brassy findings (and I didn't want to buy a bunch since I don't really make jewelry of that color), I just used gold. I like the look of the brighter gold better, so I don't know, should I paint the fan? Or would it make it look flat?

And the earrings on the bottom are of course snitch earrings Smiley I have been wanting a pair for a while so yay for finally making some  Grin
