HP Craftalong ~Fall Semester 2012~ *CLOSED*

It's time for our first challenge...

~*Ride Across Black Lake*~
Your first challenge is to make sure students can find their way to Hogwarts, especially first years.  To claim your badge (pictured below) you must either add a link to this craftalong in your signature or craft an item inspired by the Black Lake.


To claim your badge, right click and save to your computer.  Then, you can do whatever you wish with it.  Ideas on how to show-off your badges: use it as an avatar, put it in your profile under Brief Bio, or create a pinterest board for all your badges.

From this moment forth, only the revelation of a new badge will be posted.  If you complete a class or challenge that has already had its badge posted, you can find your badge and claim it at the Badge Station located on the first page, fifth post of this thread.

Clearly my mind is addled with all the crafting but I cannot for the life of me find out how to make a signature.  I found a nice description of what one is (while pretty, not what I was looking for)... yet not how to make one.

In case it is still not clear, some detailed steps... 
1. At the top bar (looks like a tape measure) click My Craftster. 

2. A drop-down menu will appear, click My Profile.

3. On the left there is a option under Modify Profile named Forum Profile Information; click that.

4. Scroll down and find Signature box (under Custom Title).  In this box is where you can add the link.  To add a word link instead of just an address you can type [*url*=add web address, I suggest tinyurl, for ease the HPC Fall is http://tinyurl.com/8cqmg4y*]insert title such as Join the HPC Fall Semester[*/*url*]  WITHOUT THE *'s & purple text! (or if you push quote you can get the proper code and can just copy & paste this ---> Join the HPC Fall Semester)

5. After adding signature, scroll to the bottom and click Change Profile.  Congratulations, you are done.  You can click Summary under Profile Info to see new changes; your signature will be in the yellowish box under Avatar and Personal Text.

Brief Description: For this craft I was inspired by a new Muggle saying that I learnt, and my love of garlic-infused foods - yum! ^_^ Everyone knows that Vampires have an aversion to garlic, and remembering this simple fact could one day save your life! ~_^

Project Name: My Sunshine
Brief Description: I love flying - and today was a perfect day for it! The sun was shining, there was a slight breeze, and the grounds looked lovely far below me ^_^ So I thought I would craft something featuring the sun and one of my favourite songs to sing (badly) to my husband ~_^ I used a pattern from Urban Threads. This is my first hoopla, and I'm really pleased with how it turned out ^_^
