I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: OQ
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: Ministry of Silly Walks
Brief Description: I hope this counts as something silly; Monty Python is certainly silly and DS chose to dress up as John Cleese's character in the Ministry of Silly Walks sketch.  DD2 was a penguin and DD3 followed along as Santa. DD1 went to Florida to check out Wizarding World for Halloween.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: HHH
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: Quicky Pumpkins
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: Due to me choosing to watch Bleak House instead of carving pumpkins last night, we had to do uber-fast carving this afternoon. We ended up with Oogie Boogie, some ghosts, and a spooky face.

@seeuudee: I love that hoop!!! Those little tiny leaves give me so many ideas....excellent job!

@pottermouth: Those pumpkins are fantastic! I am very impressed. I wish I could carve that well.

I love all these fall/pumpkin projects. It's my favorite time of the year! (Although I live in California now and it's not the same at all. I've barely noticed a difference in weather.  Sad )

Note from the Deputy Headmistress...
Our final Detention Challenge of the Fall Semester has been posted!

Portkey to Detention!

Remember, you can do any, all, or none of the Detention Challenges as they come up each month.  The goal here is always to be excited about our crafting!

Consultingcorsair, OMB FISH FINGERS AND CUSTARD! We had a Dr. Who event for teens at my library, and we actually served real fish fingers and custard (which they ate, to my surprise). I am DEFINITELY doing your version next year!

Fish fingers and custard actually tastes surprisingly good! But if you make the cakes next year, I'd love to see!  :3

I'm actually excited about it too! It's the kick up the rear I need for my best friend's birthday present (her birthday is the same day as the end of this semester of the HPC, so perfect timing!) Since it's close to Christmas and on my list of Christmas makes, I hope it'll count...

Absolutely it will count!  These challenges are just here to help prompt you when needed, so the actual "rules" are pretty bendy, so long as you are crafting and having fun!

Thanks, jennieingram! Smiley It's fun but hard. I spent the last three hours working on it... and there's still so much to do!  Roll Eyes I hope I can get it done in time.

This is what I've done so far for my Detention. It's going to be a doll of Zombie from the webcomic 'Hanna Is Not A Boy's Name', will stand at about a metre tall, and have a wire frame inside to make him fully poseable. I've never done anything like it before, so we'll see how it goes!

consultingcorsair- your Zombie doll is fantastic! Can't wait to see the finished project. Also love your Fish Fingers and Custard!

seeuudee, what a lovely hoopla!

Dearest Headmistressi-
I realized my OQ Challenge doesn't qualify since I didn't actually make anything for his costume. It doesn't count! Rats.
