I can't think of anything to do for an owl!  I tend to obsess over large projects, spending a few days working on nothing else until they're done.

This is me too.  I will work night and day until it is done. I finished a 15 hour project in three days last month.
After my dream owl, I don't know what I'll do.  Guess you can always do a dream journal too!

House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: Fairytale Chess
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques used, materials using, plan of action, expected timeline, etc.) Taking inspiration from a combination of Disney and Grimm's, I am going to make a chess set using paper mache techniques. The board will be cardboard from a soda box and I'll use newspaper strips to cover it and give it a bit more structure. The pieces will be paper mache figures and i plan on trying to add as much detail as possible for each piece, supplementing what can't be done in paper mache with other craft supplies. I will paint everything and use paper pulp to smooth out bumps and creases. A paper mache spell book will aid me on this venture as it's my first time in a very long while that I've worked with these techniques. The bases will be white and black.

Tentatively the white pieces will be

Pawns: genie lamp, red riding hood, glass slipper, book, white bird, pumpkin, fairy godmother
Castles: Rapunzel's Tower
Bishops: Doc and Dopey
Knights: Prince Philip and the Beast
King: King Triton
Queen: Queen Athena

and the black pieces will be
 
Pawns: poison apple, seashell, spindle/spinning wheel, magic mirror, gingerbread house, Queen of Hearts, a hook, queen of hearts
Castles: Cinderella's stepsisters
Bishops: Jafar and Gaston
Knights: Wolf and Maleficent
King: Ursula wearing Triton's crown
Queen: Evil Queen (Snow White)

some of the pieces may change these were my first brainstorm.

Yay for quick and fun challenges to get things off my "to-do" list! I made this for the Oceanside Museum of Art Prayer Flag Project. I'll be sending this flag out to California to reflect my hopes and dreams for the future. I chose "cultivate love" because I hope that more people in the future cultivate a sense of personal responsibility for the thoughts and emotions they choose to feed both within themselves and in others. I hope that this awareness transforms our world for the better.

This flag took me about an hour using scraps from my dye pile, my sewing machine, and some letter stamps.
