My diy mineral makeup is really drying my skin out and giving me eczema.  My current recipe ingredients are zinc oxide, Seracite mica, kaolin clay & iron oxides.  I am even adding aloe vera gel & jojoba oil to make it into a cream
It doesn't make my face red, but a few hrs into wearing it, my face is so dry it hurts.  Does anyone have any suggestions on some alternate ingredients that wouldn't dry my out.  I really don't want to have to go back to my chemical laden store brought stuff

Try blending with rosehip oil. I think IHERB sells a small size bottle. Rosehip oil is very moisturizing but it tends to go rancid quickly so I only buy the small bottle. You could also try sweet almond oil or apricot seed oil. Make a trial sample first see it it works, like in a small jar 15ml. .
