I've made a scarf for my DDs babysitter and her daughter, one for the foster grandma in my classroom (with a matching set of arm warmers), a stocking for my BFF, and I'm making a scarf for DS's girlfriend at the moment.

I made another round of items for my family

Washcloths and mugs all packed up. I even got chapstick, samples of homemade soap, and poofs.
This weekend I made shirts for my uncles and shirts for my 20 month old niece

Wow everyone! I'm really impressed. Smiley
Somehow I've actually had a social life the last month! So done no crafting. Beginning to get nervous as I have no idea about what to buy anybody.

Going to get on with things soon hopefully, assignments at university are beginning to pile up and I'm feeling awfully last minute Wink

Such a change...

Wow! That's a lot of shirts, and they look great, too!
I frugaly bought two cute newborn onesies for two dollars, because the pack of three was opened and one was missing. They're going to be perfect to keep back for my niece who's having a baby end of december/beginning of january. I'll add something to them.
And my little sis who I want to surprise with the jewelry encrusted mirror? I was at the hardware store, and found a 10 inch white ceiling medallion for a bit over seven bucks, the kind of thing to go around a ceiling fan or hanging light. I bought a cheap round mirror at the dollar store, and sawed off the plastic handle by heating an old knife in a candle flame. It's been painted white to match, and can go either on top or behind the circular opening in the ceiling medallion. Think  it'll go on top, that means less frame to cover with jewelry-and jewelry will hide the mirror edge.
I've asked other sisters and left a note in the break room at work begging for any kind of old, broken jewelry. The stuff one would give to the thrift store, give to a kid for dress up. No response, sigh....
But I have cheap faux pearl strands, some loose pretty beads, a few fancy gold and silver buttons, ect. to help fill in. Still need more junk jewelry, so cross your fingers!
And I've made around 55 book thongs from other broken jewelry, charms, odd beads, ect. for a craft show this month, and a display holder, too. If they don't sell, a few will be presents-perhaps with a book.

I finished another one of my projects.  This was a simple one.  I used an embossing folder to create these tags for my coworkers.

The stack didn't take much time at all.

Ummmm...I'm a dingbat! For three years now ive driven myself crazy crocheting either blankets or scarves for my students, when, it came to me this morning as I was wearing a very cozy fleece scarf that I received in a Craftster swap, that I could make FLEECE scarves for my students!

DUH!  I buy the fleece either in the remnant rack, or use what I have leftover, and lets face it, it's much softer than a crocheted one.

Oh we'll, there's always next year.

Right now I am working on crocheted Christmas wreaths using lids from pint sized ice cream containers for my DDs teachers.  Already had the yarn and was going to eat the ice cream anyway!

Hello Friends,

SO - my computer/internet/etc went wacky for a while and lost all my passwords and I couldn't access a bunch of things and webpages, etc, including my beloved Craftster - but the hubs has finally got everything sorted and I am back! Yippee!

I just spent a couple of minutes scanning through and I just want to say you all are so awesome! Keep up the awesome crafting, and in a few days (once I get my act in gear) I'll share what I've been up to for our christmas crafting!

Happy crafting,
Tea.
