Yeah, I'll be digging through my broken jewelry stash, my beads and my buttons, and I'll see what I can find at the thrift store.

Looks great everyone!

I second trying the thrift store for jewelry too - I buy lots of pieces to take apart from thrift stores.

Took a break from my homemade gifts crafting to make a couple of hallowe'en costumes... just thought I'd share them - 'cause they're pretty darn cute (if I don't say so myself).

Now that that's done - it's back to crafting for christmas!
Keep up the great work everyone!
Tea.

I'm trying to get my great nephews batman blanket started, let alone finished. It was supposed to be for his birthday, but it was frogged so many times. So I started to work on an Autumn Gnome for me.  ( on his head now) Need to get cracking on gifts for my mother in law, sister in law, neices and nephews and my daughters. Boy I need 8 pairs of hands. Wouldn't that be nice. Hope everyone has a great week.

Bookstorebabe - Those mirrors look really cool! I don't have any great suggestions for finding jewelry, but good luck!

Teamama- They look adorable, love them!

Well, looks like I've officially run out of time for Halloween costumes, oops. Oh well, I guess, we didn't have much planned for Halloween anyways. Further gift crafting is waiting in the wings right now, money is a little tight, but now that I've started my new job we should be good to go!

I also had an epiphany last night on what to make for the mass-produced gifts for siblings-in-law & cousins-in-law, I'm already making knit-top hand towels for my parents-in-law, but I think I'm going to make a whole bunch of quick-knit kitchen stuff. I figure tulle scrubbies, a washcloth or two & a topped towel or two should make a good set. It is a lot in quantity, but I figure they'll knit up pretty quickly, won't cost too much/can use stuff from my stash & they'll travel well so I can work on them at work. I can also do some really basic customizing with my embroidery machine, like a monogrammed initial, picture, or quote on the towels.

Still waiting to get to the Dollar Store for the nieces/nephews/second cousins gift ideas. I got some great ideas from you guys, I just need to see what I can find! Smiley
