WOW! So many mugs!

Everything looks amazing! Keep up the great work everyone.

I've managed to put up all the regular pickles for this year, next I'm moving on to beets and beans, then jams and jellies and compotes... oh my!

Sorry I've been away from checking in (yeesh! who made up these rules?!) but I've been kind of (super) sick and I'm getting back in the swing of things now. Gotta get craftin!

Moving slowly with the scarves for my students...with joining all the large Xmas swaps, I've been trying to get a lot of that out of the way before working on the scarves again.

Got the wedding gifts done! And I am very happy with them! As I said, they didn't really have a registry or ask for gifts, but she did mention that she is redoing their home in a vintage/rustic style & that her favorite color is purple. So I did some antiquing & some shopping & put together a couple things for them! It actually worked out well that I procrastinated, lol, because I was able to incorporate an image from their program into my painting work on the coffee grinder.

I posted another thread for them here, Bouquet/Grinder Thread. It includes more detail shots & info about what went into them, so I don't bog this thread down too much, lol.

I Selkie, pledge to make at least 1 homemade gift for the friends and family during the 2012-2013 Year of Homemade Gift Craftalong. I also pledge to not put time and energy into homemade gifts for people who will not appreciate them.

Excited to be joining.

This is actually my new school year resolution anyway! So great that there's a craft-along too.

I pledge that I shall try and make at least part of everybody who would appreciate it's present this Christmas. And make small presents for more distant friends, and part of presents for closer family and friends.

I made my best friend an embroidered pillow in August, along with a satchel.

But since september :
Best friend from secondary schools birthday 29th Sept - made her some bunting for her new uni house

October -
Make handbag for uni friend - 70% done
Make Dress for mum - got the fabric

Boyfriend's birthday in December

For Christmas:
Mum - was considering customised mugs, evening handbag
Mum's BF - was considering customised mugs
Dad's GF
Brother #2

Brother #2's wife - chevron oven glove so far
Brother #3's gf.

Aunty- Asked for a bag the same as I made for my best friend's birthday - seen here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=413394.0
Uncle - was thinking some funny computer based comic or something for his office wall, plus maybe a stencilled tshirt
Cousin #1 - ideally a stencilled tshirt with a christian quote on it
Cousin#2 - probably the same,
Best friend

Lots of blanks!
