I like this idea. I will truly have to consider it. Hm, maybe next month's crafty budget will go toward locks?

TBH, I really don't think so.  There are many themed yarns, but I've not seen a self portrait yarn.  If you think about yourself, what do you think?  what color are you?  are you smooth and controled, or are you textured and bumpy?  Are you over spun or underspun?  Do you have bits coming off, or are you well held together?  Lots of things to think about!

7:30 this morning? It's only 7:15! AHAHAHA! (I love time zone jokes.) Do it! Both of you! I'm the only entry so far and it's lonely.

Dang. I went without a spindle or wheel for this challenge. I'll try to join in the next one. I don't have any fiber that would work for a "self portrait" anyway. I love the idea. Sounds super fun.

I'm sorry I've been out of the loop with the spinning for so long and I missing voting on this challenge -- I love all three entries and I love that yarn can tell a personal story! I will have to add a self-portrait yarn to my crafting to-do list even though I missed the challenge.  Smiley

This crafter is out of service most of the rest of 2015 due to a wild schedule. Feel free to contact me re personal swaps or just checking in. I'll be popping in when I can.
