My wife is a lurker around here on these forums, thought I would show off my "craft" as well.  What it comes down to, is I am a computer geek, that likes to case-mod...that is chop apart my computer case until it looks kewl....

So, I have created an online journal that is slowly documenting the progress of my mod...it is a little slow moving, but I do hope to finish it by the end of July.  Here is the home of my journal:

And here are the pics:

The "Before" shot

Just after the installation of the Lumin Disk

Custom wiring job, with UV paint on the back

Installation of Blacklights, Van Eck shield

New paint job for my PC room

Hit my web page to see the full size pics, tell me what you think!

ooooo.... its purdy (but your links aren't working  Undecided) I'm not allowed to go anywhere near the inside of my pc because i make things blow up - not due to any particular ineptitiude just because electrical things don't like me - i carry to much magnetic charge its very odd. And I doubt I can ever convince my flatmate to do anything that cool to my puter. He's lazy... maybe if I actually make the headcrab I promised him...
anyways love the work

Cute. There was an exhibition at the "museum of technology" here in Stockholm, which featured a load of mods. Some were really cool. There was a lego box, a teddybear-on-a-book computer, various more standard mods, and some nifty paintjobs. I actually didn't see that many noticable mods when I was at Dreamhack 2001 sadly enough, and considering the amount of 'puters there, that's surprising. Cheesy

...oh, if it wasn't clear, I'm rarely completely serious. Smiley

that's very cool. I'm always impressed by computer mods--I fear the combination of crafting and electricity.
