i tried using vaseline + crayon shavings + melting in the mocrowave = sucky polka dotted vaseline. the crayons didn't melt. Sad

I would try melting the crayons at a higher temp, or for longer, (they are a lot different than vasaline)

i tried again, and this time i melted the crayons and the vaseline seperatly, then mixed them together. i thought it worked, but it was still polka-dotty. and i fried my microwave. Sad

it died. like the timer worked, but it didn't turn on. then it worked again. weird. the microwave IS from 1988, though.

i feel so bad!!! sorry! Maybe there's something wrong with the magic content. Magic is what makes microwaves go, right?

My dad used to make me microwave a cup of water when I was microwaving something that was almost nothing like a marshmellow so I didn't fry the mircowave.  Maybe you should put something like that in with the crayons when you put them in for long times.

my mom's boyfriend tried to microwave an egg in a cup of water to see what it would do- and the whole the blew up. the glass shattered and everything. but i guess it would make a difference if the thing wasn't in the cup of water. Wink

thanks for the tip! Smiley

Maybe you shouldn't put glass in the microwave.  Maybe try with a plastic cup?
