Ha yeah I hauled anything and everything I had that is Halloween-ish (papers, stickers, stamps, markers, paint pens, colored pencils, etc.) and layed it all out on my table and then just went for it. Still have one left, though I am debating on doing a couple more so I can pick out my favorites to send, but we'll see.

Does anyone here have experience using prismacolor colored pencils? I bought some after seeing them used on an ATC I received. It has this awesome soft blended look, very smooth, but when I use them, they still look like regular ol pencil coloring. Huh

Hi everyone! I've never done ATCs before, but I'm glad my first ones get to be Halloween themed!  SO my favorite holiday.   Grin

found a tutorial on prismacolor blending. She uses a clear blending pencil or marker to achieve some nice effects.

also a little one on blending just using pencils

You can get a colourless blender pencil for prismas which helps to fade your colours together.  To get a deeper, richer colour use markers first then the pencils.  It takes awhile to get the hang of them, there are lots of tutes on YouTube showing how to use them Smiley

Ok, so I just sent in my questionnaire.  I haven't been in a swap in ages, and I have never made an ATC.  I suppose I am expanding my horizons, lol.
