So, my husband and I play Magic: The Gathering and got my brother and his fiance hooked. We had been talking about the use of tokens and what they might be for and so this idea came about. For little bro's birthday I made him his own Forest token.

The top:


The bottom, celtic design because he loves celtic knotwork:


And the side, plain but had to do something!:


Everything was carved into the plain "coin" that I started with. The designs lay about 1-2mm deep. After baking I painted with acrylics, sealed, and then poured resin over the top of the forest symbol. That's about it!

This is such a cool design! And really well-made Smiley
You say the designs lay 1 or 2 mm deep, but with the painting they look much deeper than that!
