Whew.
My daughter just got her first AG doll for her birthday. So of course she "needed" a bed, clothing and EVERY thing else that this momma can't afford. I barely saved and skimped enough to buy the doll !

So here's what I came up with on my own. The doll bed itself was a very old and broken doll crib that I cut up, glued, screwed and nailed back together and painted. The actual bedding was actually a crib set... bumper made a great mattress, while the sheets and crib skirt was just sized down for the doll bed. The blanket was the matching curtains from the old nursery. Pillows from the leftovers! I was so tired afterwards and it actually looked soooo comfy I needed a nap! lol! BUT, no... my little one needed some pj's for her dolly... so I took a pair of old leggings of hers and made some. THAT was my Friday...

Saturday, well, she again "needed" clothes. So back to my daughters stash of no longer wanted or worn clothing pile for material. I love how the little dress turned out. And an old pair of jeans too small and some ribbon made a cute little capri's and strap top for her new doll.

Sunday, I'm resting. Until the girl child "needs" something else.....
