i tried that "nail polish remover(i used 100%acetone) and cotton yarn fire trick" from pinterest. all i got were burnt or melted labels with cracked glass Sad was i doing something wrong?.. or is the glass to thick or something? also i want to make some cherry beer bottle glasses but i didnt even try those cause i didnt want to ruin em.

I've never tried the string with the acetone thing, so I can't really speak to that. However, cutting bottles especially thick ones should be done with a glass cutter. It is a relatively inexpensive way to get use from your bottles, and especially if you want to make lots of them.  Smiley
