My mother and I have found a huge fascination in the art of making cosmetics, body products and the like. For our first experiment we want to try making knock-off LUSH hard massage lotion bars. The recipe requires cocoa and Shea butters.

So my question is, where is the best place to get cocoa and Shea butter, price-wise?

Here you go...I haven't priced in a while but I usually buy those from Soaper's Choice/Columbus Foods. (link is on the list under Bulk Oil Suppliers)

I see that you are in Canada - I order from www.canwax.com.   They used to be in Mississauga, and moved to Huntsville, ON a few years ago.  I have ordered from them a few times and have done both shipped packages and picked up from their warehouse, and have loved dealing with them.

I live in Canada too. I order from Creations From Eden. They are on facebook and their website is www.creationsfromed en.com. They are based out of Edmonton, where I live, so I am lucky in that I don't pay shipping, I just order online and pick it up at the warehouse.
They have an extensive selection and good prices, since they don't sell products, their main thing is providing supplies to people who make and sell their own stuff. If you don't mind telling me where in Canada you live I can suggest other places. Smiley
