I finally finished her! She is over 2 feet long and 1 foot wide. It seriously seemed like I would never get done.

The poem says:

With only a silver needle and a string, I will stitch from the depths of my heart. I will stitch love and beauty into the warp and weft of the world.

Okay, all I can relate this to is the "Wise Old Owl" cross stitch my mom made me work on as a kid. She must have pulled that thing out 200 times to get me to work on it and I probably only ever finished 1/2 of it - and it was a FRACTION  of this size...and I was a KID! (don't judge me.)
This is beyond spectacular and I appreciate every single little stitch that went into it - and the poem is absolutely appropriate for something done by you!  Now please, a picture of it framed and proudly hung on your wall!!

Thanks everyone! I plan on getting it cleaned, blocked and then framed. I have to put it away for a little bit, I don't think I want to see if for a long time Cheesy

Gorgeous!  Congratulations on conquering this project, too.  I've seen the WIP in person; I can attest that it is very neatly stitched and beautiful in person.

WOW, I had to lay those measurements out on my computer desk to picture the size of her and yeah, all I come up with is WOW.  Amazing work and patience to work with so much black.
