Here is my diorama! I did my landscape of the beach because it is the one spot in the world where I can relax and feel at peace. Hope you enjoy my diorama.

The Finished Project
[/b]

Closer View - Man in water flying kite

Closer View - Man/Woman sleeping under umbrella
[/b]

I used a combination of items:
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Paint - Blue and White
  • Pizza Box
  • Sand from the beach
  • clay for people (can use toys)
Then I just painted box and added the sand. And that was that! you can figure out the rest.
This project probabely took around 2 hours.
I am sorry to not include any picture of me working on it but I had no more room for pictures.
Thank You!

I love the beach too - but I've been spoiled by my mom's boss.  He let us use his vacation condo in Florida and the beach was empty all the time. And beautiful.  I've only been to two beaches and the first was a public beach.  It's definitely not calming when there's people running around.   It's how I go to sleep every night.  I picture myself walking out of the building towards the beach, dragging a chair down to the water and sitting so that all I can see is beach and water - no man-made objects.

I love the idea of using a pizza box too.

the pizza box idea is pretty brilliant, with the way that it skews the "normal" proportions of a diorama. Good thinking!

I'm currently lusting over bird's nest necklaces and jewelry in general. Personal swap partners sought! :-)

My brother made a miniature beach scene. But it was of the area where we sprinkled the ashes of my grandaunt from Wales (country) and she used to go to the beach everyday!
