Well, actually, it's Cities and Knights of Catan, but close enough. Tongue Two of my friends who were expecting a baby this summer are huge Settlers of Catan fans, so I decided that would be the theme for their quilt. It was actually quite straightforward to make, since hexagons are a common quilting shape. The hardest part was tracking down the different fabrics - what I had to do to get the grass pieces was ridiculous!

Here's the full quilt:



The way you can tell it's Cities and Knights is that I stitched on the barbarians at the top. It's also the 5-6 player expansion-size board, because otherwise the quilt would have been too small.

Great job! I love it. I recently saw a tutorial for a hexagon quilt and the first thing I thought was boardgame map. What a great heirloom gift!
