My first Jordy bags!
«
on:
June 29, 2005 07:26:48 AM »
Hi everyone! This is my first post so I hope I get it right. I made these bags on Sunday and I really like how they turned out!
(Thanks Jordy!!!)
The pink one has 6 pockets on the outside. The green one doesn't have any pockets. I gave the green one to my sister and she suggested I make more and try selling them on e-bay. I need your advice on that. Do you think they are good enough to try to sell? Also, what do you think I should ask for? Thanks!
I put heavy interfacing on both the outside and on the lining so it holds it's shape.
I also put it in the handles and an extra 2 layers on the bottom so it is nice and stiff.
I double stitched all the seams so they should be fairly sturdy.

V. v. cute. I think you should sell them... you cant go wrong with jordy bags. But heres my advice... I think you could get more for them if you sold them in person and not on ebay, because generally, e-bayers are not so much inclined to apreciate hand crafted goodies, and also, generally, you go to e-bay to get a really good deal, so perhaps you should make several, sell some on e-bay, and sell some around your town and see what works best for you. Just my two cents.

I agree with her, sell them on your own and you will get more money out of them.!!! Make a logo there is a tute on her on making your one labels, do that then you will start having a name for your-self. BTW yours are much better than Monica Lewinsky's.

Thank you very much! That is very good advice. I went to Walmart and got some "Print-n-Press" and I will make myself some labels. Norah Nadine Boutique or something like that. I am very excited about trying this!
P.S. Monica Lewinsky makes bags?!
