ok so I have a crazy amount of embroidery to share! I've been stitching and stitching and not sharing, shame on me  Undecided Hopefully you will enjoy looking at my pretties  Cheesy

I stitched up the sloth for one of the hoopla swaps my partner was sloth003...I was late sending it because I went in to labor with my daughter and had to finish it in the hospital! lol its almost completely split stitched, back stitched and satin stitched.
The different shades of grey in the body were done by taking a few different colors and making them one strand. I really wanted him to be special.

hooped up at her new home

This green ferret was done for a good friend of mine, its all split stitched and the words are back stitched. Green is her favorite color so I did him all in green Cheesy

all finished with text and ribbon wrapped around the wooden hoop (the text is the her tag line on her email)

these next ferrets were stitched up for christmas presents for my ferret friends, turned them in to ornaments. each one is a different color combination.

this one is modeled after my dearest friend Florences ferret Zeus (he was my boyfriend <3 he would come out of hiding every time I came over and give me ferret kisses every time I saw him) this is true to his coat color, he is a "champagne" color

the ratty I stitched up for myself because rats are one of my all time favorite animals. It hung in my rat room above the cages until all my girls passed away. now it has a place of honor on my hoopla wall. <3

thanks for looking! hope you liked them all  Grin

wow! I'm blown away, these are great.  I love your style, especially the rat and ferret.  Did you do the design yourself?  the different shades of the same colour work sooo well, and your choice of stitch.

Reminds me I need to learn more than one stitch Smiley

Your embroidery skills are a delight.  I love the shading on the sloth. Thanks for posting even if it did take you a while.

Wow! I especially love the sloth. The texture on it looks so touchable.

I just love the rat!  Beautiful job stitching and selecting colors!

Also, what a cute idea to make ornaments from your ferret stitching!  Very cute!
