I actually searched "wedding cake with birds" and found this cake, saved it on my computer, then soon after realized it belonged to a couple I knew.


Real cake


This is on my favorite ones I've done so far. I loved painting the birds after it was baked. The "twigs" are super thin wire painted brown. The twigs on the bases are just clay snakes rolled super thin.

I saw this from the home page, so I didn't know it was a fake cake until it got to the photo where you show the height. I was like "mmm, that cake looks tasty and exactly like the original".  Cheesy It's incledibly lifelike, I'm amazed!!

When I first saw this I thought it was a full sized cake.  It took me two or three glances before it dawned on me that this was only about 2 inches!   Shocked
