Ok, round pin cushions are my sewing pet peeve. Its just nice to have one standing there by your machine that wont role away while your other hand is holding the fabric. And that frame was a great size, not too big not too small and it was on super clearance cuz the glass was chipped.

Anyway I am glad Quaggy likes her package. It was really hard not being able to ask about color and style and stuff. I think this one had my record for swap anxiety.

I apologize for not getting this posted earlier Sad

I received a wonderful surprise hoopla from donniesgirl!!
I love hoops and she saw that I am a B-52's fan - so she created the "here comes a bikini whale" hoop from the lyrics from Rock Lobster!

I love it! thanks so much!!!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

I received a fantastic package from onegrooovyday! She spoiled the heck out of me and everything she made is super awesome and very well done.

First up, one of the main things I wished for was a circle scarf. And she made me this one. It's so soft and cozy and I love it! I think I'm going to get a ton of use out of it this fall and winter.

And then she made me a ton of small things from my pinterest! Check 'em out!

Beautiful thumb tacks. My favorites are the mushrooms and trees.

Nifty reusable bowl covers. Like this. I love the colors and fabrics she chose.

Pretty embroidered dandelion plus Keep Vermont Weird sticker.

And these tie bracelets. I love these! And again, I love the fabrics. (And yes, they do fit. Quite well actually!)

Thank you so much, onegroovyday! Everything you made is perfect for me!

Great package Onegrooveyday. And Cinnemon Teal you are oneluckypartner. I particularly like the scarf and bracelets. Is a circle scarf the same as an infinity scarf. Can you give any details on how its made?

I love that pincushion!

A bikini whale???  How awesome is that?  I love the water fabric that was used in the background.

I am wanting that scarf, those bracelets, and the bowl covers!  They are just wonderful and have been pinned!

Donniesgirl, that bikini whale is so cute and funny!  Love it!

Onegroovyday, what a spoiler you are!  Everything is awesome, as always.  How did you make the thumbtacks?  They are really cute and so much better than plain ones.  And I am LOVING the bracelets!

cinnamon, I am so glad you like all of your goodie and super happy that the bracelets fit!

Leslie, the thumbtacks are covered buttons with a thumbtack glued on the back... oh, and I cut the shank off before i put the buttons together.

Craftsunderground, the "circle" scarf is just like an infinity scarf.....and really easy to make.... 2 yards of fabric, sew the ends together and its done!! which is why I made a few other little things, because even though it was one of the things that cinnamon wanted it just didn't seem like enough!!
