I just finished this Baby Surprise Jacket for a friend. The baby's a girl, but I didn't know that when I started the sweater Smiley  I made a few small changes from the pattern - the sleeves are little longer, the neck's a little wider, and the buttonband/bottom hem is a little narrower. I added the crochet edging and ties to 'girlify' the sweater a little.

It's very precious. What a thoughtful gift.

That is a lovely baby jacket - and I think blue is beautiful on little girls.

Very nice and I agree that blue is nice on girls. I know many moms who get tired of all the pinks they get!
