I have a Babylock Lauren Serger (http://www.babylock.com/a-line/lauren/) that I've had for a couple of years.  I used it a couple of times and lost interest (got frustrated) and put in the cabinet and never used it again.  Now I'm looking for a new home for it, and don't know where to start?  Is there a market for used machines like this?  The Craigslist in my area sucks, so I'm not even going to waste my time.  Any ideas?

Do you have any sewing machine stores around you?  Especially if they handle Babylock.  You might want to check with them and see if they would do a consignment.  Or at least allow you to post an ad or a note advertising that you have the serger to sell.

Don't call it trash...I can make something with it!!!
