Hi Lady4',
I've not finished the back yet. I'm planning on using a black sheet for the backing, stitching it to 3 sides so that I can still get inside to do maintenance.

It is very warm & thick. It's surprisingly heavy. We mostly use it on the couch when we're reading or watching TV. It's nice to sleep under but by morning we're pretty hot under it.

I've still not backed this blanket despite it's being in use for a year now. I'm not quite sure how to go about it. I'd love to hear from anyone who's done something like this with advice on how to go about attaching a backing and about what material would be best to use.
