Well... Good news! Frankenstorm is apparently coming through this weekend, so even if I lose power, I'll have my knitting. Virginia is weird.

Us too...just to let koalascout know...we seem to be on the same electric line as the local firehouse and hospital (I think), so our electricity almost never goes out, but if there is thunder and lightening, we need to turn off our computer.  Just in case there's a delay in my posting....

I dropped off DD to religion this morning, took a shower, and then spent the NEXT TWO HOURS wrapping and labeling for this swap!  It is a good thing that I have such a big box to put everything in.  DH is going to have a FIT when I ask him to mail this box, but I think I'll be able to fit everything in it, and not have to mail out several smaller boxes after all.

I'm not behind, but having the box with all the items and supplies just looking at me, made me feel as if I were.  I feel much better now that I see how much I actually have done!

We still have almost a month right?! I can't believe you all are talking about sending already... I still have quite a bit to do. Hopefully we won't lose power for days with the hurricane coming... Last year we lost power for 4 days with Irene. Of course, I really mean that I hope nothing worse happens than a power outage. Might be Little House on the Prairie-ing it this week...

Well wishes for those in the storms path.   I managed to get the other 6 of something done on Friday.  Switched swaps crafted 2 items for it and then started working on  2 more like items one for this swap one for another. Hoping to find time after work each evening to get them made.

My prayers are with my swap partner Miss Barbara!  She lives in New York.  I feel sure that it may be days before she can post as what I am seeing on TV and via computer she has been hit hard.  Hoping all is well for all others also!   I am in Texas and saw convoys  of  Utility vehicles headed down I - 10 this morning.  Be safe all!!!!!!!

I'm pretty well finished ALL of the items!  YAY!!!  This was a huge swap but I really liked crafting for this partner.  Just need to wrap up all the days and box it all
