So almost two years ago now (wow, super late post here), my family welcomed our newest addition, a sweet, beautiful little baby I am very proud to call my niece. Now, due to the circumstances surrounding the birth, namely the fact that her father was still in college, she and her parents moved into my parents' basement, which meant a lot of work in the months leading up to her birth because the basement was pretty much just studs and some insulation! My mom worked her butt off and I was right down there with her helping to get the space liveable in time, a feat we managed just in the nick of time. I decided to make one room my own little "project" and put my artistic abilities to good use by whipping up a little something in the nursery.

Wow, what a beautiful room for her.  I love that it's fun and whimsical, yet still soothing.  A wonderful place for a little girl to grow.
