Hi everyone! I usually just lurk here, I don't post too often (although I should). I'm getting ready to start a new cross stitch project and the pattern calls for 28 ct Antique White Monaco fabric. I'm having a difficult time finding fabric that is the right color or right size. The pattern is worked over two threads for the most part, however there are some stitches that are only worked over one thread. The instructions say that Aida cloth is not suitable for this reason. So could I use linen in place of the monaco fabric? Any other suggestions?

Thanks!
Jessica

I think it is like evenweave linen so yes a needlework linen should work fine

Thanks sewphie. I figured I'd be able to use another linen as long as it was 28 ct
