World's Largest Yarn Bomb?

I hope this is the right category for this...this mega yarn bombing is not just crochet and not just knitting so.... We live in a little capital city, North of 60 and a couple young ladies gathered together members of our community to make a giant yarn bomb for our DC-3 weathervane that sits by our Transportation Museum.  I flew in one of these things almost 30 years ago up here...noisy and freeze to death   I drove up to take pics this morning and found an old pickup truck in the parking lot that had been yarn bombed also    They could not cover the cockpit area or the tail because of weight issues.  It will stay up for 2 weeks and then will be removed and all the individual pieces (which are blanket size) are being donated to charity.

That is awesome! I never get tired of yarn bombing projects, They are always so interesting. In my town a few people have yarn bombed trees, I wish more people would do it!
