Imp-like thing

Not sure what exactly he is ... still struggling with achieving a matte finish on something which is varnished (even though the darn varnish is supposed to be matte). If anybody's got tips, let me know.



He's made from a petite pete skeleton modified with magic sculpt, wire and green stuff to give him wings and a tail.

Love this lil guy.
Have you tried lightly tapping the finish with your fingers while it is drying?
It may cause a fingerprint or two, but that usually works for me. ^_^

Thank you  I will try tapping it next time I varnish something. fingerprints probably wouldn't show and maybe if I put something on my finger like a piece of leather or glove it wouldn't leave that much of an impression.
