Here is a fingerless mitt pattern I created to go with the Pretty Puff Slouchy Hat by ArrghMatey.  I hope you enjoy!



Puff Mitt Pattern
Do not sell this pattern; it is for personal use only.



            

Materials: Worsted Weight Yarn, H Hook

Notes: Puff Stitch-(Yarn over (YO) and insert hook into stitch, YO and pull up loop)4 times...9 loops on hook...YO and draw through 8 loops on hook.  YO and draw through the 2 remaining loops on hook.  Puff made.

Make 2

CUFF: ch 15
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and sc across
Row 2-26: ch 1, turn.  Working in Back Loops Only (BLO), sc across
Row 27: ch 1, turn, slst Row 26 and beginning chain together

HAND:
Round 1: ch 1, work 26 sc along edge of cuff rows.  Join with slip stitch (slst).
Round 2: ch1, (sc, puff st) around.  Join with slst.  (13 sc, 13 puffs)
Round 3: ch1, sc around.  Join with slst.  (26 sc)
Round 4-11: (Repeat Round 2 & 3) 4 more times
Round 12: (adding thumb space)  ch 6, skip 6 sts, sc in remaining stitches.  Join with slst.  (6chs, 20 sc)
Round 13-17: ch 1, sc around, join with slst
Round 18: (edging) slst, ch1, slst in each stitch around, join with slst.  Finish off and weave in ends.


*Need a size smaller or larger?  Adjust the number of rows in the cuff section by two.

I loved these so much I decided these would have to be my first "project" since I've only just learn how to crochet and I'm new around here. I had to cut down on the number of puff stitched rows as I felt them to be a little bit too long on me, but still love them!

Grin they look fab bexster_94...I love the sparkly yarn!
The great thing about this pattern is it is pretty open to adjustments for personal sizing & liking.

To make it larger/smaller for wrist, just add/subtract Cuff Rows.
To have a larger/smaller cuff, just add/subtract Cuff Beginning Chains.
To lengthen/shorten hand portion, just add/subtract Hand Rounds.
