Hi! I made this patch using heat transfer on paper, and I want to sew it on a bag with an outline stitch that looks like this: http://i47.tinypic.com/23uq78j.png
Although, how do you make that stitch? By machine or by hand? What is the best method to do that?

That's called satin stitch. You can do it either by machine or by hand. You could also do a tight blanket stitch around the patch if the material is very thick and then hand-sew it to the purse with a prick stitch.
