I found this cool tshirt at Goodwill (love thrift stores).  It was too small for me to wear but I couldn't resist.  I decided to remake it into a purse.  Lucky for me the back of the tshirt had the same neon "paint" splatters as the front so that made for an interesting lining.  I actually remembered to add a pocket before sewing the body of the purse.  I used one of the sleeves and made an assymetrical pocket.

I had a pink leather skirt that I have been wanting to remake so I cut two strips from it and made it into trim at the top with a magnetic snap closure built in.  I used the bottom hem of the skirt to make the shoulder strap.  I attached it with some rectangular "D" rings (don't know what the rectangular ones are called) and scraps of the tshirt.  All in all I think this turned out well.

It looks very cool. I like that you've used the same pattern fabric for the liner as the outside, and the sleeve-pocket is great too.

Look twice, buy once. Nooooo
Look twice, decide I can make one instead.

Lovely. What a great find. The pink leather goes really well with the t-shirt fabric. A very nice bag.
