Hi! I found an adorable pattern for a child's jacket made all in one piece with seams. However, I don't speak French, let alone read the stuff! Do French patterns use UK crochet terms, or American? I have the numbers and can run the pattern in google translate, but the resulting translation is gibberish. Basically, I am strong enough is my crochet to guestimate what is supposed to happen next, but are there any key crochet terms in french I should be looking out for? Thanks!

Have you tried typing the terms into a Google search, and then look for pictures? That works for me...

I found this site http://www.crochetmemories.com/language.html very useful to read international crochet patterns.
