So I decided to start studying to become a legit pagan/wiccian/witch I haven't really decided yet... but it requires IMO that you have a "Book of Shadows" to accumulated, collect and record your research and anything else that you might want for study/ritual/practicing purposes. I was determined to not use a notebook because I feel like lined paper restricts my learning process, but that's off topic.... Anyway.
I found this awesome sketchbook in Michael's which had a canvas cover for $16.99, plus the store had cupons for 40% off so it brought the cost down to $10.19 with taxes. Score! So I bought one for my friend since she is currently operating out of one of those lined composition books and really liked the lettering that I put on mine. It was supposed to be a birthday gift, but I jumped the gun and made it early (4 months early, but still)

Acrylics on Canvas...
The background was done with watered down paints that I pretty much spilled onto the cover, but it seeped down on the inside cover so the canvas looks completely green =)

I'm really happy with the way this turned out.

On to the Pictures!
