This is my second project.  I bought a plaid skirt at a thrift store, and it kind of reminded me of the shape of a poodle skirt, so...I embroidered a poodle on it.  I used laid work tied with crossbars (I think...) for the body, outlined in stem stitch (my favorite), with a woven spiderweb tail puff, and satin stitch legs.  The back leg turned out kind of wonky, and way too long,  but meh!  It's all black, so it might be hard to see the stitches.  I was severely running out of colours, it was this, neon pink, yellow, or olive green... none of which matched the skirt.  I got the pattern from a retro clipart website.  Anyhoo, here he is:

Wow!  Look at you bustin' out with the cool stitches!  I am so in love with how the cross-bars fit in with the plaid...  Nice job!

I've been in trouble ever since I set my suitcase down.
