I made a skirt for my chaser project in the Harry Potter Craftalong, and I just fought off a second beater to make a Chemise

I enjoy attending the local Ren Faire. Normally I rent or borrow a costume, but this year I'm making a simple Chemise and Drawstring Skirt that I can wear with a Cloak I've had for years. The cloak is burgendy on one side and black on the other so I decided to make a burgendy skirt. After much research I've found a pattern for a 3 panel skirt. I'm also tried to make a historically accurate Chemise with ribbons.

I'm going to the Fair on August 11th.

With a Belt I got in  a swap

I've never created a shirt successfully. I'm so happy that it turned out wearable.  I ended up using Bias tape around the neck hole, and threaded ribbons around the wrists and neck which I read was authentic.

Lastly a close up of the belt from swap

Good job!  It was a desire to go to my local Ren Faire in costume that started me on the path of sewing.  I still have the costume I made almost 20 years ago.  Hope you have many years of enjoyment with your outfit!!!

WOW!

Can I ask what pattern you used for the skirt and chemise? I've been looking forever for ones for Pennsic!
