This is my favourite of my newest minibooks.  Like the Alice one, this one has a resin window.  The covers are brass, and I think this one turned out better than the Alice one.  Of course, I am a bit biased, as I love the Mad Hatter and his mad tea party.  But I think the window turned out better too.

The resin just slightly domes over the metal cover, and it makes a nice contrast to the metal.

As you can see the image is quite clear too

The inside, like the Alice one, has images and quotes from the book.

And the etched images make me think Victorian, and the reminder of tea time

I have worn this one out and it seemed to be well liked - I even had a waitress notice and comment on it at dinner the other night.

A bit more about it on my blog

OnyxNox, this is a gorgeous piece! The Mad Hatter is my favourite character too.

I'm not attached to your world, nothing heals, nothing grows... we used to love ourselves, we used to love one another.

life is no cabaret- we don't care what you say, we're inviting you anyway, you mf'ers, you'll sing someday!

Thank you - I am keeping this one for myself, but may make a few for the Covert Art Abandoner's craft swap - I am not 100% sure what I am making for it yet.  I was thinking the theme of some of my favourite children's books - and Alice is certainly up there.  The Cheshire Cat should make a great image for a resin window too.

Your book is so well made!  Just love it.  I would love to see a Harry Potter one, my favourite fantasy book.

I was just thinking that too - a Harry Potter one - one with Harry's face on the cover with the lightening bolt scar.  Also Anne of Green Gables, Narnia, LoTR, Wind in the Willows, Wizard of Oz...

I know - I love the hatter too.  I think I want to make another one with him.  I love the old Tenniel images of him best.
