Never thought of using them that way.  Did you do anything to the bumpy edge on the back to smooth it, or was it not a problem?

I have a few skeins of Caron Simply Soft I would love to supply swap with anyone for other types of yarn, I am finding the yarn a tad hard to work with.

I've seen this before on another site but they flattened the bottle caps out with a hammer first.  Question for you though, (bear in mine I'm new to the craft world,) how do you attach the clasps to the bottle cap (to thread the necklace  chain through)?
