Princess Bride Themed Teesha Moore bag

After seeing all of the amazing Teesha Moore bags pop up and loving them, I finally decided to try my hand at it.  I made this Princess Bride themed bag for Whistley as my final large item in the Make a Friend Swap.  Now that she has received, I can post pictures.


This is the front of the bag.  I used that purple fabric with the circles as the inner lining of both the strap and the bag.  I let it peek out of the top a little so that I could affix a button tab closure on the bag.


This is the back of the bag.

I was very nervous about attempting the Teesha Moore style because I have never embroidered anything before.  I am really in love with the way it turned out, though.  It was tough to send it, but I knew that Whistley would adore it so that made it a little easier.  I like all of the patches that I made, but here are a couple of my favorites.

I really like the way the beading looks on this one.

I am so proud of the bag, and I can not wait to make more!  I am totally going to make myself one now.  I've been wanting a Harry Potter Teesha Moore bag ever since seeing the great bags SheepBlue puts out.  Now I can make my own.

AHH!  This is beyond awesome!  I can't believe you've never embroidered before.  You definitely have a natural skill, my dear.  What a work of art!  Stellar job.

Thanks!  The embroidery was pretty intimidating, but I've seen enough hoops that I was able to fake it.  I may not have stitched properly, but the end result works for me.

This is flat out awesome, I love it!  I have to say the "Morons" patch is my favorite!  This is a wonderful bag!
