Kleenex Cozies ***Tut added for 2 tone cozies pg 3***

I love this tutorial.  I'm new to sewing also.  I had to keep looking at the tutorial but once I was able to comprehend(yeah I need a light bulb to go off) it was like yeah!!!!  I've made 2 so far and plan on making a lot more.  Thank you. Thank you.  Thank you!

I love that cupcake fabric....

I wonder....I bet you could put a split ring on a ribbon and sew it into the seam allowance for the short sides, basically the last seam you do before turning it...then you could carry these on your keychain...

I think you would need to put it off center, though, on one side of the opening or the other so that it doesn't interfere with the opening for the kleenex, but I haven't tried it yet....this is just what I'm envisioning...

I had to make these!  I am the honorary Kleenex carrier for the family and am so sick of the crinkly noise and trying to track down the ugly little plastic baggie in my purse! 





I think the stripes kinda look like teeth.  lol

Here's mine. Sorry for the crappy image, and the fact that it's a link. I'm a newbie poster, and I only have my webcam to take pictures with. ^^;; I used spools of thread to poof mine since I don't have any kleenex at the moment.

Thanks for this - a Kleenex cozy is even small enough to (maybe) conquer my fear of using a machine to sew.
