Gryffindor Inspired Bag

Compared to all the great bags I've seen so far, my little drawstring bag seems very simple! Haha But I'm still so proud of it! Below, my very first ever bag is featured! It's also only the second thing I've ever sewn in my life! (I just learned how to thread my sewing machine. xD)

I'm sorry for the awful picture quality. It's rather dark here, and I had poor lighting. The bag is a beautiful red and the inside is yellow satin. This bag was made as a Christmas gift for my friend who's a total Gryffindork! I know it's early for Christmas, but I'm getting a head-start. There's much crafting to be done!

Also, you can't tell by the pictures, but the bag has a really pretty, subtle print on it; truly fit for anybody in the Gryffindor house!

Congrats! Being able to make a classic bag like that is super handy. And lining it, much nicer, as well as more difficult, so kudos for that! I make these for gift things all the time. Bottle of wine, "Survival" or "emergency" kits (college, wedding, friendship, etc.) and lots of other stuff.

Thank you! Yeah, I see myself making a lot more of these in the future, especially for putting gifts in! It's better for the environment, and it allows me to be lazy! (I also suck at wrapping xD)
