pinkleo, such pretty squares!

I've ordered some more yarn, even though I'm supposed to be destashing, 2 project bags to help organize my WIPs, and an automatic knitting machine. I figure I can whip out 12 inch squares faster that way, haha. I have a slight online shopping problem, but it's for good causes!

For the past few days, I've been avoiding my knitting WIPs in favor of some charity crochet! Here are 12 6" squares for PRR.

I sent 6 more pairs of socks to Katara in South Africa. The last batch never made it so cross your fingers that this bunch does. The lady at the post office said there is a lot of theft in South Africa so people don't usually reveal what is actually in the packages they send.

But it's just ladies socks! So if someone steals them again, I hope they really need them!

And I need to post a photo of the fleece scarves I made - very high-tech...not.

Three 40 inch strips for Project 40. I was able to finish one of my WIP's. It was originally going to be a scarf, but I decided it was too thin, so it's now a 40 inch strip. Next up I plan to finish a pet bed that I started a few months ago for the animal shelter. Really trying to get my WIP's down because finishing things makes me more motivated to craft.

Sunday I hosted a program for local teens to knit/crochet winter items for the homeless.

We had teens with various skills. The kniffty knitter looms were very popular.

We made scarfs, hats, and an ear warmer.
