I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Happy to report that I mailed out a package of 3 hats and a blanket to the drive by Debbie Macomber that I mentioned before.  They'll be going to Halos for Hope and Project Linus.  I forgot to get a pic of the new hats, but the pink camo looking set pictured here somewhere was the blanket and one of the hats.

Next up, as a palate cleanser during Christmas Crafting, I saw that Michael's Craft Store was collecting squares for Warm up America so I thinking between projects I'll try to pop a few of those out... and this time I'll get pics!

Hope everyone is well and happily crafting wherever you are!

Ok, I'm up to 100 craft kits for sick kids.  I would make some more, but I'm out of zip lock baggies!  (I have supplies left to make about 40 more kits.)  Now I just have to print out all the directions and slip them into the baggies, and mail the package off.

Fantastic Ant Bee!  And Kiss for link!  Love making WUA squares; they really are nice to work on while in the midst of holiday craft craze. Grin

I'm wrapping up my OWL shawl, just one more round!!!!  And then I must knit my stepfather a hat; it is all he asked for, usually we share the Christmas present wish of donating to charity (i.e. getting an angel on the Salvation Army Tree, food bank, one year I donate a red wagon for the children's hospital and received a fab little red wagon card to give).  Then, I'll be back to full-on charity crafting.

Finally some photos of what I've been up to - my first set of four goodie bags is ready to be handed out.

This set contains a small bag with drink mixes and granola bars, a small bag with shampoo and lotion, wipes, tissues, new socks and a book.

I made four bags (the bags are from the $1.25 store but they are only 79 cents each).

My friend Amy will keep these in the trunk of her car to give out in Alameda (a town near San Francisco). And not pictured is a shopping bag of sweaters and a a fleece blanket to offer if the circumstances call for it.

We also made up some containers of food, leftover from our Thanksgiving dinner to give out if we saw anyone sleeping on the sidewalk near my apartment, as we did last year.

I have 4 bags of my own to give out this week - I will add bottles of water and I'm still on the hunt for more fleece blankets. And I know I have a sweatshirt or two I can regift.

Happy Thanksgiving all!
