A couple years ago I spent a few weeks in China helping at an orphanage. This is an adaptation of a photo I took from when the orphans danced for us. Along the side I added the Chinese characters for Faith, Hope and Love. Right before our team left the orphanage, I broke down in tears. A little orphan girl wiped the tears from my eyes and told me to be strong.
This is done in watercolor, acrylic, pencil, and charcoal.

First of all, kudos to you for volunteering your time to such a worthy cause!  I love your piece, the shading/colours are so dreamy.
